Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Pet Game Studio collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, your date of birth, and a password that we store only in scrambled form.
Things you create: your game, your profile, your posts and messages, and what happens to your pets and items.
Payment records: what you bought and when. Card details go straight to our payment provider and never reach us.
Technical details: your device type, your network address, and a record of sign-ins, used to keep accounts safe and to stop abuse.
Waitlist: your email address and what you are interested in.

How we use it

To run your account and the games you make or play.
To keep the platform safe: preventing spam, cheating and multiple-account abuse.
To send you emails you have asked for, and essential notices about your account.
To understand, in total and not person by person, how the platform is used.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your behavior to target advertising at you.
We do not use third-party trackers on our site.

Children

You must be at least 13 to have an account. We ask for your date of birth to check this. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we will close it and delete their information.

Your choices

You can download a copy of your data from your account at any time.
You can correct your details in your account settings.
You can delete your account. After a 14-day cooling-off period your personal information is removed. Pets you owned stay in their games, shown as belonging to a former owner.
You can unsubscribe from any email that is not essential.
